Coverage: Don’t sweat Morton

Thanks for providing the Morton insight. i think some people were trying to make a 4th starter controversy where there really shouldnt be one.

and i like the little scout blurbs too.

Typo debut=debt.

Think you got some misinformation on the game. Barton's HR was a bomb. Walker's double landed in FRONT of the LF because the wind was blowing IN.
Wind was out to right early then in from left later.

Wasn't worried about Morton's numbers. It takes awhile to get everything flowing well after being out so long. The big number to me today was 6 innings. That is right where he should be at this point in ST.

Good to see Polancos bat get going...really don't know what to expect from Morton.

Mr. Perrotto, you are a fantastic addition to DK's site. Your insights are excellent. Can't believe my subscription rate didn't go up when you came aboard. Thanks for doing such great work.

Best part of the coverage thus far is the scout insights sprinkled throughout the updates. Neat stuff, well done, looking forward to any more content generated for the site.

John, I watched him pitch vs. Houston and he looked terrible.

Morton was not bothered by the tape-measure home run he served up on his first pitch to Barton in the first inning. - abc news

Morton will be fine

No mention in the story that this was Toronto's B team. I think it's leaving out a pretty big factor in judging Morton's performance when you omit that information. Morton did not look great vs mostly minor leaguers and it wasn't mostly because of the wind.

Headed down to Disney for the Braves game today. Sunny and 75. No wind like yesterday.

Thank you for the last paragraph, John! That makes the whole point that the powers-that-be around here generally want to ignore for some reason...
