I would be a little surprised to see Troy back on the field next year. That includes any team.

I know you have written about your theory (ok maybe a fact) on winners/losers in trades. I have agreed w/you in the past but it was refreshing to hear a calm voice amid the "hair on fire, ready to take the bridge" segment of the fan base after trading away a "future hall of famer".
Admittedly I was never on that band wagon, so his departure did not upset me too terribly. Ya, he most possibly has more long term upside than Lovejoy.
Hope the kid does very, very well.
Does not matter. Both sides can be winners or losers in this trade.
Both could crap out and be a bust, both could shine and contribute what both teams are looking for. Remains to be seen
Lets watch the next 20 games or so and see what happens.
