Dont like Jalepenos!!! Good lord son!!! Chili and Jalepenos are Nirvana on a quality dog. Now this is hot dog reportin! Nice job Matt… seriously. I like this stuff. I didnt mean how could you have done this…. I meant how could you have not given us the full “dog” breakdown. This is serious stuff. A good dog is important to the American (and Cannuckictanny) way of life. I sports tradition. Good job Matt!!!

DormontyDawson – next to unloading Scuderi, the next option would be as the 7th defenseman. Scuderi/Lovejoy has to be the worst third D pairing in the NHL…regardless how Rutherford, and his 6 assistant GM’s, want to spin it.

Agree about the $ needed to pay for a marginal contributor.

Only Scuderi could play as poorly, as he has the last three years, and:
1) get an incompetent GM to overpay on a four-year contract that has strained cap management.
2) survive a new GM and coach, who want to play a puck possession game, and keep top 4 minutes for the majority of his albatross of a contract.
3) remain on the roster, as no better than the 10th best defenseman in the system, where there are better options in free agency/cap management to improve forward depth (Fehr, Tlusty).

Rutherford is crazy if he believes Scuderi was not as bad as his number show…he was worse – the Scuderi/Lovejoy penalty kill pairing was an absolute joke. Scuderi is the NHL’s version of a cockroach; if there is a natural disaster, the only humans who will survive are Rob Scuderi and Pauly Shore.
